How we handle your data
Draft. This text is waiting for legal review and may change.
No prompt storage
When you ask the assistant something, the request goes through our service to the AI model provider and the reply comes straight back. We don't store your prompts, your model data or the replies. We log only the size, cost and timing of each request so we can count your allowance.
No training
We don't use your prompts, chats or models to train AI models. [To confirm with each model provider's terms: they don't train on them either.]
Where your data is
Your account data (name, email, plan, PCs, usage counts and billing records) is stored in Amazon Web Services in Mumbai, India (region ap-south-1). Sign-in is handled in the same region.
To answer a request, the AI model provider processes it in their own data centres, which may be outside India. They keep it only as long as their terms require for abuse checks.
How long we keep it
- Account details: while your account is open, then deleted within 30 days of closing it.
- Usage counts and billing records: 8 years, because tax law requires it.
- Security records (sign-ins, sign-outs, account changes): 1 year.
- Records of signed-out PCs: 90 days.
On your PC
Your chat history, checkpoints and settings stay on your PC. Signing out doesn't delete them.
